This is the most well constructed pump I've ever used. I had to be careful with the motor suction because it was getting painful (my fault LOL!). To the guy who wrote the negative review... ummm they have warranty mate. Sounds like you just had some bad luck. I love this thing.

This pump looks very flashy, but unfortunately is very low quality. Within the first two weeks of using this pump it had formed a crack down the shaft, no drops or bumps had happened in this time, this crack was formed purely by standard usage, so clearly poor quality. The pump still worked alright with the crack so I kept using it, fast forward to only 3 months later, and the motor has already died and will no longer draw suction into the pump. In short, this pumps 2 main components both broke within 4 months, one of them being within 2 weeks....
